Grupo Meta Engineering is awarded four infrastructure development contracts in Guatemala

Grupo Meta Engineering has been awarded several infrastructure development contracts in Guatemala, which will represent a significant step forward in the modernisation of buildings, mobility and communications in the Central American country.

The first of them corresponds to the tender issued by the Directorate General of Roads-BID, belonging to the Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing of Guatemala, and which has been awarded to the consortium formed by Meta Engineering S.A., the Mexican subsidiary Audingmex S.A. de C.V., and the Guatemalan subsidiary INESCA S.A.

The contract covers Consulting Services for Detailed Engineering Studies and Technical, Economic, Environmental and Risk Evaluation of the project to improve the Ruta RD BVE-18 highway, in the Chitomax-Pacani section, Cubulco, Baja Verapaz.

In the second project, the consortium formed by INESCA S.A., Meta Engineering, S, de R.L. de C.V. and Meta Engineering S.A. will be responsible for the Detailed Engineering, Technical, Economic and Environmental Assessment studies for the Alternative Road Section complementing the Periférico Norte, Zone 4, in Huehuetenango, responding to the requirements of the tender issued by USAID, Palladium International, LLC.

The consortium will also provide the same services in the Periférico Sur project in Huehuetenango, again for USAID, Palladium International, LLC as customer.

Finally, the fourth project will be executed by Corporación Adico S.A. and INESCA S.A., consisting of Pre-investment studies and Final Designs for the construction of the municipal headquarters of Chimaltenango, Coatepeque de Quetzaltenango, Cobán de Alta Verapaz, Jalapa, Flores de Petén, Huehuetenango, Mixco and San Marcos, serving the Institute of Public Criminal Defence and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) of Guatemala.
